Computational Science

LEC’s computational tools & techniques play a central role in advancing our research. The computational tools & techniques are developed & used in an integrative manner, and without exception are partnered with a companion experimental research program. Furthermore, we always incorporate an engineering perspective into the formulation of the basic questions being addressed with our computational tools & techniques. Thus, LEC has demonstrated much success in the development of new designs, and in providing new & relevant insights into the mechanisms of interest. A suite of in-house developed qualitative and quantitative analysis tools supports our use of the computational simulation tools.
